TPU Patches
(Thermoplastic Polyurethane)

- Size: The average size of a patch is 60mm, however you can have any size you like.
- Thickness: 1-2mm
- Backing options: Heat Press & Hook & Loop - Which Type of Backing is Right For Your Custom Patch?
- Border options: Laser Cut
- Colours: 4 colours included, maximum of 12 within one design. See all available colours by using this link: Solid Coated PANTONE Chart Extra options available. Heat press, general application instructions (may need to be adapted based on garment and heat press): Set the heat press to 150-175°C, 3-10KG of pressure. Using a teflon/transfer sheet, pre-heat the garment in the heat press for 20 seconds. Place the TPU Patch on the garment and secure it in place with heat proof tape. Turn the garment inside out, so heat is being applied to the reverse of the patch. Place a silicone pad directly over the front of the patch and a teflon sheet over the garment where it will come into contact with the heat press, now press for 12-15 seconds. Peel away the clear carrier and thermal tape.
Washing instructions:
Wash inside out at 30 degrees Celsius.

What is a TPU patch?
TPU is thermoplastic polyurethane, a soft, flexible rubber. The patch is moulded with your design in raised or recessed relief, then laser cut to shape. It bends with the fabric, does not fray, and survives repeated washing.
Heat press or hook and loop?
Heat press backing bonds the patch permanently to the garment with a heat press machine, the standard choice for sportswear. Hook and loop lets the patch be swapped between garments. Stick-on is for temporary use. Not sure? Ask in your quote and we will recommend one.
What is the metallic finish?
A metallic gold or silver effect moulded into the TPU. Dual finish combines normal and metallic areas on the same patch, so a crest can carry a metallic border with a full-colour centre.
