Meet Aspinline's Customers: Matty Bovan

Meet Matty Bovan. Matty is a York-based designer who runs his own fashion label called Matty Bovan. He is also a stylist, art director and consultant. Aspinline has had the pleasure of working with Matty Bovan and creating patches for his label.

We spoke with Matty about how it’s been working with our team and about one our most recent works with him (pictured below). Take a look at what he had to say!

How long have you been working with Aspinline?
“For 2 years now, I first had them create a Logo Patch I used in my first show in 2016. I was really amazed by the quality of their products.”

What has been your overall experience working with us?
“I am always so amazed how well they manage to translate my illustration into embroidery, the way the stitches go in different directions for different mark making is really beautiful. I always have such good feedback when I have my patches made with Aspinline.”

How is it working with the Aspinline team?
“Really easy, I just send in my drawings and I’m done, I just have to approve colours and they start making them.”

What will you be using these patches for?
“My latest ones are to coincide with my newest Zine, but I have used them in shows and for art projects in the past.”

Can you tell us about the quality of your patch and about other Aspinline products you have ordered?
“All my patches done with you have been the best quality I have ever seen, they really feel amazing and the colours and texture are so beautiful.”

Would you recommend Aspinline products to others? 
“Yes and I have done, people are always so impressed.”
